Finance Ministry of Ukraine fails to place bonds on April 21

The Finance Ministry of Ukraine didn’t manage to place bonds on April 21, according to Ukrainian News. Investors were offered government debt maturing in 173 days and yielding 15.6% and bonds with a 1,090-day maturity yielding 15.6%.
The Ministry placed UAH 1,702,446,030 worth of bonds on April 17. The Ministry sold UAH 499,413,030 in 12.5% bonds due October 7, 2009; UAH 500,415,000 in 15.7% bonds due April 11, 2012; UAH 702,618,000 in 15.7% bonds due April 4, 2012.
